Seshu - Extraordinary scenery

About Chalet Seshu

Designed to resemble a veritable mountain mansion, the five-bedroom luxurious Chalet Seshu’s edgy alpine architecture hides cosy and stylish interiors. Whether you’re warming yourself by the stunning stone fireplace or soaking those tired muscles in the large outdoor jacuzzi, the chalet’s smart mezzanine design never seeks to steal the attention from the area’s main attraction – the picturesque Hokkaido mountainside.

The chalet has two master bedrooms and two guest bedrooms, each beautifully appointed and fitted with comfortable ensuite bathrooms. The traditional tatami room downstairs offers a lovely Japanese touch of simplicity and provides an peek into the traditional way of living. It also doubles as a bedroom which sleeps two people and has its own toilet and shower room.

Seshu - Kitchen and dining area overview

Chalet Seshu has a spacious and sleek open-plan kitchen, perfect for trying your hand at preparing some delicious Japanese food. Or you can watch your own private chef doing the cooking, something we’d happily arrange for you at an additional cost.

Set across three floors, the chalet provides a real sense of space and privacy. The large TV lounge downstairs and the separate lounge on the top floor, both with comfortable leather corner sofas, are ideal for socialising, particular at night when the tasteful soft lighting creates a delightfully intimate atmosphere.

Whether you’re looking to enjoy the area’s lush green woods in the summer, traversing its world-renowned slopes in winter, or indeed experience Hirafu’s year-round flourishing dining and wellness scene, Chalet Seshu is a beautiful base to return to after spending the day outside.

Indeed, thanks to its gorgeous design, excellent amenities and central location, Chalet Seshu represents mountain living at its swankiest.
